*Really* quick service! I dined solo on a Tuesday evening when about 60% of tables were occupied. Burrito Supreme was very good and generously accompanied but rice, frijoles refritos, guacamole, sour cream,cheese, lettuce and tomato. Some restaurants seem stingy with accompaniments and toppings but that's definitely not the case here! No draft beer, but they had my Dos Equis Amber in a longneck.
A common tradition in the South, Mexican food is something many enjoy and El Mariachi is no different in providing that excellent service and taste of the near-perfect authentic Mexican experience. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming, they even recognize us now after a view visits. The environment is well maintained and vibrant with a variety of stuff to look at while you wait for your food. Speaking of food, it is rather delicious and something I look forward to eating without worry. I've rarely had a negative experience, and the few that I have tended to get fixed immediately in a friendly and appropriate manner. Highly recommend this place to anyone in southeast Alabama!
We are visitors to Ft Novosel. Food here is Ahhhhmazing and the portions are huge!! Sit in or order to go. We loved both ways and both did not disappoint!
You can't go wrong with a visit to El Mariachi! Our family visits at least once a week. The service is fantastic and fast and the food is phenomenal. I love the street tacos and the fajita salad! The authentic Mexican decor makes the setting perfect.
Ok, this place is a small town, Alabama, gem. The building and the decor ate bright, unique and very welcoming. The parking is ample, close in and well lit. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by half a dozen friendly staff members. We were seated immediately and had drinks in our hands within two minutes of sitting. Our waiter, a very personable man named Nick, took our order promptly. Our meals arrived in under ten minutes. The good was hot, freshly made and delicious. I had beef tacos and they were first rate. The entire experience was fantastic and we really enjoyed our evening. I fed three people with 50 bucks plus the tip. Small town greatness here.
